SEO and Websites offer a fantastic new way to make money doing what you like, and telling about what you want to do. This example starts with the Domain Name using the keywords: Mountain Scenery. This is a high search string, a great start!
Nothing is easy, nor is it something that requres no time. The good part about writing websites is that you can pick the subject, topic, and photograph and tell stories about what you enjoy, or what you have going on around you.
We are full time RV travellers, and work in the outdoor industry in Rafting and Skiing. It is a fun life, at a minimum of a wage. This type of seasonal work however allows us to be where we want to be, and enjoy the outdoors, along with the photographic opportunities.

For the above SEO Domain Name example, and as a follow up; we published the first pages and launched this Mountain Scenery Website on March 13, 2010, and this date is March 29th, a little over two weeks later. The search string traffic on the above keyword website example has been very successful for the primary words as well as the accompanying words like background, front page on the primary search engine in several three word search cases.
For web tools we have our server of course, a place to host it. The two primary programs we installed are WordPress and Coppermine for the photo gallery. We love php, MySql! It is interactive, and indexes very well with pages. We have SEO on the WordPress, work to do in Coppermine yet for page names.
Then we used Adobe CS3; Dreamweaver to edit theme files for looks and features, Photoshop for header banner construction and Flash for any rotating banners, not used yet I believe but could soon.
With someone that can set this up, and provide affordable space for several domains, one could get started fairly easily. The content is what takes the time, such as I am writing at this 8pm evening moment. I enjoy building websites with SEO though. That is the difference…
The advertising has yielded real dollars these last few days! Not much, but been only two weeks! We are starting to provide recognized valuable content and benefiting our advertisers!
